Pool Sand Filter Pump model D-400, for above and in-ground pools, with 6-function control which enables pool owner to filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, drain and close system. Durable, corrosion-proof filter tank, all weatherproof. Tank size 16”, requires a pump with flow 35gpm / 7.9 cubic meters /h, filter area 1.4sq ft / 0.12sq m, max working pressure 50 psi / 3.5 bar. Sand capacity 100lb / 45 kg. Connection size 50 mm / 1 1/2". A connector is needed if upgrading from a cartridge filter pump. Hoses not included. Maximum pool volume ~8,798 gal (40 cubic meters). An effective filtration solution with little maintenance as the sand needs changing once every 3-5 years.
