Swimming Pool Solar Covers

In the UK climate, using of a swimming pool solar cover is essential for retaining any heat absorbed in the water from sunlight during the days. Combined with good weather, after a few days the solar cover will make all the difference to the ambient temperature of your water.

These solar pool covers come cut to size in a variety of common shapes and measurements. High quality made to a thickness of 120, 160, 200, 400 and 600 microns. All Intex Solar Covers are either 120 or 160 microns. However we have a selection of 200 and 400 microns in many of the same sizes, for extra heat retention and durability.

Lock in the heat and help keep out some of the garden debris! Reducing the levels of organic material landing in the pool will reduce the load on your sanitisation chemicals and algaecide. However, for the ultimate in debris protection, please consider a pool debris cover.

Protecting the water from direct sunlight also helps to reduce evaporation of sanitisers such as chlorine, again reducing your costs.
